WHY GIVE?

Stewardship: Time, treasure and talent.

 

To build Christian community we the people of God need a place to gather, to pray, to celebrate the sacraments, and

to build on our past and for future generations of faith.

 

Our church and parish centre are supported mostly by donations from our parish community.  

The only other source of income is from facility rentals. The parish needs the generous stewardship of its people

to continue to serve one another through the love of Jesus Christ.

 

We are very grateful for any donations!

INTERAC E-TRANSFERS

One option to donate is via interac E-transfers following these simple steps:

If you would like to transfer funds electronically from your bank account, the following steps will guide you.  Each bank can be a little bit different, but generally the process is:

  • 1. Go to your on-line banking site
  • 2. Select Transfer/Pay Bills
  • 3. Select Interac e-Transfer (or electronic transfer)
  • 4. Follow the steps outlined by your bank
  • 5. Funds must be directed by email to StPat190@telus.net
  • 6. Under Notes or Message on the online form, please include your name, envelope number, and the program, ministry or Capital Fund, to ensure that your donation is directed accordingly

To donate using a credit card or PayPal,

you can give your gift safely and securely online through Canada Helps by clicking on the button below.  

Note that you will receive a tax receipt from Canada Helps right after you donate - this is one of the easiest ways to give to our church.

FAQ


    • Yes, the parish will provide a tax receipt for your donations made directly to St. Patrick's.  
    • If you make a donation through Canada Helps, you will receive the tax receipt from Canada Helps immediately after your payment. 

  • Donation receipts are prepared once a year usually during the month of February of each year in time for you to include in your tax return.

    • You do not need to worry about writing a weekly cheque or bringing money for your donation.  
    • It helps the parish to meet regular financial responsibilities and enables effective planning of parish resources.
    • The parish reduces the amount of paper and costs of collection envelopes.
    • You can continue to support the parish even if you are traveling.
